Speech by Neelie Kroe, European Commissioner for Digital Agenda, at the Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona on 15 February. In her first official intervention as European Commissioner for Digital Agenda, Kroe declared that the ambitious plan of the Agenda will position Europe at the fore of economic and social progress in the 21st century. She also referred to the importance of the leadership of national authorities in issues such as high-speed Internet and e-literacy.
