This study is the result of the collaboration between IE Business School and the City Hall of Zaragoza in their desire to contribute to the analysis of the situation of Spanish technology-based businesses and their development. The study reveals that the highest concentration of micro, small and medium-sized technology-based enterprises is to be found in Catalonia, Madrid and Andalusia, whereas their presence is on a much smaller scale in other autonomous communities.
