Speech by Julius Genachowski, President of the FCC, at the New American Foundation on 24 February last. In his speech, he explained the efforts being made by the Commission to develop the National Broadband Plan and reiterated its benefits for the United States economy and society: "If we get it right, broadband will be an enduring engine for creating jobs and growing our economy, for spreading knowledge and enhancing civic engagement, for advancing a healthier, sustainable way of life. This is our moment. Let's seize it."
